MacBook Pro - Move Menu Bar to External Cinema Display

I snuck over to the new Apple Store in Brandon, Florida yesterday to look around. While there I asked one of the sales people how to move the menu bar from the MacBook Pro Display to the larger external Cinema Display. Although I prefer not to use the mouse and menu bar for anything, there are some applications that I use less frequent than others and I would like to have the menu bar on the external monitor I use when working in the office.

So this is embarassingly simple, but I couldn't seem to find the answer while Googling.

First, click on System Preferences. Then click on Display in the Hardware Section. Then click on Arrangement.

You will notice two screens, one is for the MacBook Pro in my case, and the other is for your external Apple Cinema Display Monitor ( or just external monitor ). Per the instuctions, just drag the little white bar ( which is the menu bar ) from one screen to the other. This will display the Apple Menu Bar on the other display. The fact that you can't display the Menu Bar on both screens still freaks me out, since this menu bar is a shared menu bar for all your applications no matter what display they are running on. Oh wait, yes you can mirror the displays, but then my external monitor display looks like hell because it mirrors the resolution on the MacBook Pro.

Hopefully this helps those new to the Apple World.
